I have completed the customer satisfaction survey with the 'Approved Workshop' and if anything i was slightly frustrated that i could not express the level of satisfaction received within the 200 character limit that they impose ! For information below is my summary to them :
Work carried out quickly and efficiently whilst we enjoyed complementary refreshments in the fantastic waiting area that overlooked the workshop. We were even charged less than the original quote ! 
As i mentioned during our visit we are new to Motorhome ownership and one of our concerns when considering such a large financial outlay was the issue of technical advice. After visiting yourself and Trisha at Rhino we are now certain that we have found a thoroughly professional service that can guide us through any issues we may have and not have any worries that we will be overcharged. I just wanted to let you know that the television is fantastic. I sat in the van last night to test it and before I knew it 2 hours had passed. The picture quality is excellent and it picked up over 100 tv stations and 40 radio stations. The built in DVD player is also great. As always you turned up when you said you would, installed the tv exactly as I had requested and finished bang on when you said you would. The van was tidier after you had finished than it was before you started. Together with the speakers,leisure battery and chargers that you fitted previously my dear old van has been transformed. I would recommend you to anyone. With my recent experience of some companies it is a relief to deal with someone who is reliable, helpful and friendly.Thanks mate. Tim

Thanks for your very prompt response to my query. What I look for in service providers is reliability, quality of workmanship, confidence in the people doing the work, and clarity of costs. Phil turned up when he said he would. He fitted the TV aerial and TV plus rewired the cab radio. He explained what he was doing, answered my questions and ensured we were satisfied with his work before he left. The bill was modest and contained no hidden charges. Everything was transparent in our dealings. The post installation service has also been responsive. It will be no surprise when I say that I am a very happy customer and I would use Phil again.

Fiamma Awning Replacement (Chorley) - Swift Bolero
Last year we asked Phil to fit an external BBQ point and an external 240v socket. The finished job was excellent and both fittings are still working perfectly. He was, therefore, the obvious choice to replace our awning after our existing one suffered some weather damage. He met us at the lovely Stoney Leach Nurseries Campsite (Caravan Club CL) near his Chorley base last week and had the new awning fitted in no time at all. Our dealer had told us, during the annual habitation inspection, that the awning brackets could be accessed only from inside the 'van and that this would entail stripping out the wall units above the bed. Phil removed the damaged awning and fitted the new one without setting foot inside the vehicle!! Phil is great to do business with; he's pleasant, punctual and very professional. Maxview 85cm Target Fully Automatic Satellite install (Sedbergh) - Autotrail Cheyenne
We had been thinking for some time about adding a self seeking satellite to our Motorhome with EU travels coming up. The market can be confusing and as it is an expensive addition you need to get it right. Phil at Rhino Installs could not have been more helpful in confirming our choice of equipment. An installation date was agreed and Phil arrived in time and soon got to work. The installation was quick, clean and very professional. The connectors were adapted to meet our needs so that we could use the satellite feed either on our 12v built in TV screen or a bigger mains one. Full instructions were give in its operation and all questions and concerns answered. We would certainly use Rhino Installs again for our ongoing needs and would recommend them to everyone. Bullfinch 240v & BBQ external Socket installs (Chorley) - Swift Bolero
I arranged for Phil to fit an external gas (BBQ) point and an external 240v socket to my Swift Bolero 722FB. We arranged to meet at a campsite near to his Chorley base. Phil arrived exactly at the appointed time and, after a few moments of introductions and pleasantries, he got to work. His first task was to confirm where we wanted the new fittings and how we would like them aligned. He finished the job in double quick time and checked that the gas was flowing, that the pressure was good and that the 240v socket was working as it should. The finished job was excellent; professionally done and the fittings look great and work perfectly. Not only is Phil punctual and professional, he's also a very pleasant guy. I have no hesitation in recommending Phil and Rhino Installs; in fact, I have already discussed the next job that I would like him to undertake on my 'van. Rhino Installs – in the words of Tina Turner are; “SIMPLY THE BEST” We got our Motorhome in September 2014; it needed a few improvements, so we could take our creature comforts with us across Europe.

That list of Creature comforts included; Satellite with TV & Internet, Air Conditioning, and New improved leisure batteries, New Solar Panels and a 2000Watt 12v to 240v inverter, just for starters.

With NO motor-homing before, we were purchasing blind, apart from good old Google for research, we needed someone who could guide us through the minefield of purchasing tried and trusted upgrades etc. Phil proved invaluable here, we gave him an outline of what we were looking for and Phil made his recommendations on products that he’d used and installed previously, after obtaining Quotes from other companies, we opted to go with Rhino Installs (Phil) to do the installation of the upgrades to our Motorhome.

Phil arrived in the morning 8:30am, now bear in mind; we are located just south of Glasgow in Scotland, Phil had already been on the road for 4 hours... to get to us and he set to work straight away.

Making light work of the Satellite and Air-condition and seeing Phil was coping very well by himself, I took my leave into the house, only coming out to ask if he would like anything to eat or a cup of tea, I find it better to keep out the way while all the technical stuff is being carried out.

Time was getting one, it was past 7:00pm and the offer of a shower and a room for the night was made to Phil but no, Phil was on a roll and declined the offer, as he was within sight of completing the whole installation and said he could make home before midnight as he had more jobs lined up for the next morning in another part of the UK.

Just as 8:00pm arrived so did Phil at the door, that was the whole installation was now complete and ready to rock and roll, we had a little play with the new items installed Paid the bill and Phil was on his way South heading for home.

This year 2015, we have had a few more improvements carried out by Phil, as on his previous visit Phil carried out an exemplary install, this year’s installs were a Toad Alarm, LowGas system, LED driving lights, a reversing camera and a further leisure battery to extend our power required.

Originally considered fitting the Sniper SN RKIT4 camera system myself but then decided to get RhinoInstalls to do it – and how glad I am that I did.  From the minute he arrived (at stated time) Phil quickly and professionally got on with the job without any fuss or need for any power/support etc from me, other than the odd cup of tea.  As a new van owner Phil was happy to advise me on how best to fit the system and allowed me to see just where all the cabling went and where it connected into the van’s electrics, just in case I need to change anything in the future.  Two hours later with the job finished and the system working Phil left to his next job and I was left wondering just how many days it would have taken for me to do it myself.  A professional job well executed, I would certainly consider Rhino Installs again for any major job.

Had two solar panels and Gaslow fitted. Fitting went well and was completed in a couple of hours, no problems. Have just been away for a 6 week tour and it was brilliant to have full batteries without hook-up (usually fully charged by 10 am), and GasLow, supplied with all continental adapters, made it all so easy. VB Reinforced coil Springs install (Morecambe) - Hymer
Hi Phil. Many thanks for that, and of course the fantastic job on the hymer. We have had a few weeks away in Europe and have found the higher front springs a vast improvement than the originals, with the van naturally sitting far more level now, actually levelling up when parked has become a lot simpler, usually we don't need the blocks we just need to face the van in the right direction to be level. Despite the new springs actually being stiffer we now find the comfort of the van whilst travelling an improvement, I'm sure the old springs must have been bottoming out previously. With hindsight if I was doing it again I'd take the opportunity to change the actual shocks at the same time, I understand they are cheap. Many thanks for a fantastic job, I'll be providing very good feedback to the relevant forums etc. Lee

Phil installed a category 1 Toad alarm and twin Gaslow system in my 2008 Relay panel van motorhome. Originally he had planned to come all the way to St Andrews to fit the items however one problem after another (on my side) meant that Phil worked on my van outside his house from 8pm until nearly midnight. I cant imagine many providers offering this level of service to ensure I got the instillation I needed and in the tight time scale I offered. Despite the torrential rain Phil still arrived promptly to carry out the work – installing a satellite dish to our caravan. It was a bonus that he came to us and we did not have to drive miles to get the work done. The automatic system could not be easier to operate as there is just one button to press. When up the dish seeks for a signal automatically. The control unit, small though it is was fitted inside a cupboard. Phil is friendly which is always a bonus and without question he knows his stuff!! We are thinking of installing an air con unit next year and if so we will definitely use Rhino again. I had been researching the possibility of fitted air assist suspension to my Autocruise Gleneagle motorhome. I found the Dunlop air units suitable for my unit and located Rhino installs on the web. I spoke to Phil who was able to answer my questions and arrange to fit the unit at my home address. He arrived early on the agreed day. We discussed the installation and location of the compressor and gauges. The installation was completed and I was guided through the controls. Brilliant! These 2 items will enhance my motor homing no end). Not having dealt with Rhino installs before, it was a pleasure to deal with Phil prior to meeting him when he initially travelled down to fit the cruise control system at my location. We also then chatted about the quality of the TV reception which was already fitted onto my van and I managed to talk myself into having a satellite dome installed as well. With no pressure selling from Phil, I might add! What a brilliant decision that was, that I made! Hi Phil, Many thanks for installing the Dunlop Air Suspension Kit to my Auto Trail Navajo which had a very low payload. It has enabled me to have the van replated up to 3850kg so that I can carry all I require without exceeding the original maximum of 3500kg. I know there must be many more motorhomes experiencing the same payload problem and I will certainly recommend you to anyone that is interested.

KVH TracVision R4 Twin LNB install (Northamptonshire) - Autosleeper
Sorry I have not replied earlier but we have been fully utilising our motorhome and of course fully testing the new dish in a grand tour of the West Country visiting a total of 9 different sites. At all sites within 15 minutes of arriving we were fully TV operational tuned in to dual satellite signals at all locations. The actual tuning to our required satellite taking less than two minutes. We were especially pleased when on a very windy hill above Lynton when various kinds of crank up aerials had to be lowered our dome provided excellent signals with no worries. The other feature we liked was the fact that the dish require no power after locking on and all power to it could be turned off - no integral receiver being required.

Thank you for the fitting of this Tracvision dome and for being a tradesman that arrives on time and completes the required task with the minimum of fuss. Your advice re location on our crowded motorhome roof was also appreciated.
