The low-profile unit generates a refreshing airflow to the front and back – efficiently and amazingly quietly. Dometic CleanAir air purifier

The new air purification system uses advanced bipolar ionizer technology to keep your motorhome smelling fresh and clean while greatly reducing allergens, viruses, bacteria and pollutants. Ionizers purify air through several methods. Firstly, they create positive and negative ions to help reduce pathogens, odours, and mould. Bacteria and virus cells are robbed of their life-sustaining hydrogen, reducing their number. Secondly, odours are reduced when they oxidise on contact with the charged ions. Last but not least, the positive and negative ions attach to the particles in the air. Their attractive forces make the particles big­gre. This in turn allows the standard dust filter of your air conditioning system to remove more particles from the air.

Benefits of the inverter compressor

Compared to the compressors used in conventional A/C systems, the inverter compressor of the FreshJet FJX7 series is significantly more quiet, efficient and energy-saving. Controlled by smart electronics, this state-of-the-art compressor type does not have the typical ON/OFF cycles. The compressor speed automatically adapts to the cooling requirements. When the preset temperature has been reached, the inverter compressor won’t cut off. Instead, it continues running superbly quietly at a low speed to keep the temperature on a fairly constant level. A conventional A/C compressor, by contrast, switches on and off over and over again. This causes noise and consumes extra energy.

12v DC inverter Kit

The 12v DC inverter kit is wired into the motorhomes/campervans vehicle battery and will only work whilst the engine is running, as the power output of the air conditioner unit would flatten the leisure batteries in a very short period of time (matter of minutes). - This is an aftermarket inverter (Not Dometic) with switching relay.
