Lifos Advanced Lithium 105ah Leisure Battery
The new generation of smart lithium batteries
The Lifos range of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries delivers outstanding performance in all high cycling applications and is an ideal replacement for a lead acid leisure battery without the need for additional charging equipment.
Lifos is compatible with every charger and DC to DC converter on the market and its internal battery management system (BMS) controls its charging and discharging functions to provide safe and reliable power over many thousands of cycles.
At 25% of the weight and 30% smaller in size than the equivalent lead acid battery, Lifos packs a punch in a small and lightweight package, which can save hundreds of kilos when multiple Lifos batteries are wired in series or parallel.
With its high discharge rate and its guaranteed long life (five years), Lifos will delivery up to 2750 cycles when operating at 90% depth of discharge.
Whatever your commercial, leisure or off grid power application, choose Lifos as your reliable and safe partner.
The battery management system (BMS) built into each Lifos battery, controls the amount of power it can receive when being charged. If a Lifos is in a low state of charge its BMS can allow a faster flow of charging current, thus Lifos can be charged from flat to full approximately 20% faster than an equivalent lead acid battery. This function is invaluable when being charged by a solar panel as full battery charge status in any off-grid application can be achieved so much quicker.
Both the Lifos 68 &105 can be connected with four batteries in series or parallel if a power bank is needed and each battery's internal BMS ensures all the lithium cells are perfectly balanced to give outstanding and reliable performance.
The Lifos 68 and 105 batteries are constructed using the very best prismatic cells – four per battery, each interconnected using conductor plates mechanically fixed to each cell. This construction method is far more reliable that the typical lithium battery cell construction using 48 (or more) 18650 tubular cells, each of which generally has a solder interconnection.
Basic electronics teaches us that the more connections we make in a circuit the higher the potential for failure. Add in the frailty of solder connections and it becomes clear why Lifos is now regarded as one of the most reliable, high performing LifePO4 batteries in the marine, campervan and commercial industries.
Keeping you in the picture
Any lithium battery discharges its power differently to a lead acid battery and, as such, false readings can be seen on standard battery power meters. This is not a problem for the smart Lifos 68 and 105 models.
Both have an in-built Bluetooth app that is free to download and use on Android and Apple devices. Critical information, such as battery voltage and state of charge can be seen at a glance. This clever technology also gives a warning when the battery needs to be recharged thus helping to ensure you always have a fully functioning battery.
Once connected to a smart device, the app will also send users a reminder to put Lifos on charge once the battery is at 30% or lower.
You can keep abreast of the vital information at all times when connected to an Android or Apple smart device. Information such as current, voltage, power (w) and state of charge can be interrogated at any time and the smart operating system will even send you a warning well before the battery gets to a low state of discharge giving plenty of time to get it recharged.
Lifos 105Ah/12v Smart Lithium (LiFePO4) Battery (LB0105)
As the flagship in the Lifos range, the Lifos 105 is the only choice where maximum power, minimal weight and longest cycle life are critical. Whether used to power electric marine motors or in large RVs, off grid properties, for on location audio visual equipment power, powering emergency “blue light” equipment or in commercial applications such as road signage, the Lifos 105 provides quick charging reliable power in all circumstances.
The Lifos 105 provides an amazing 2750 charge / discharge cycles with a 95% depth of discharge giving a usable battery capacity of 99.75Ah. To replace this a 200Ah lead acid battery would be needed but instead of weighing in at nearly 60kgs, the Lifos 105 is a featherweight 11.9kgs.
