Veetech Motorhome Solar Panel's

The VeeTech panels range that we offer (exception being the 140W panels) are composed of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells with an antireflective coating. Thanks to the new Ultratron® technology all of the VeeTech Solar modules have higher output and guarantee very good performances even in lower sunlight conditions. These top quality modules are made by using only guaranteed and certified materials: solar cells encapsulated between sheets of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), highly transparent, anti-shock, tempered glass which protects the module against mechanical and climatic effects and Anodized aluminium frames. The white TEDLAR back sheet provides further protection of the module.

CleverSolar Motorhome Solar Power Systems

Solar Panels using cleversolar's advanced monocrystalline solar cells are the most efficient on today's market. As a result, Cleversolar monocrystalline solar panels are the PV panel of choice in mainland Europe for caravans, motorhomes and many marine and remote power uses. The 'heart' of the panels, the monocrystalline solar cells are manufactured in the US in an advanced factory, where the highly automated process produces incredibly repeatable cells for the solar panels.

Due to the ultra-high efficiency of cleversolar solar cells (21.5%), cleversolar's monocrystalline solar panels are 30-50% smaller than cheaper models and are far less affected by changes in ambient temperature and sunlight intensity. Cleversolar solar cells are uniquely connected together at the back; not the front in the same way as standard solar panels. Not only does this increase the visible surface area of the solar cells, it also makes the front more aesthetically pleasing (no silver wires). In addition, a unique backing material reflects unused light back into the solar cell, increasing energy production even further.

Cleversolar have recently been made aware of a few companies offering cheap 'copycat' imports from Asia which claim to be the same products as cleversolar; their ultra-high efficiency panels are available exclusively from Cleversolar. This is a constant problem for manufacturers and our advice is to check the efficiency rating of the panel; if it is less than 21.5%, then it's not using genuine high-power solar cells.

20w CARASOLAR
The 20w CARASOLAR is an ideal choice for the caravaner wishing to get away from the use of television. It will quite happily replace the power consumed by lighting and water pump during the better 8 months of the year. We would recommend that if the panel is being used for week long holidays as opposed to weekends you should keep this to the better 6 months of the year.
The 20w will produce up to 1.2 amp per hour and is self regulated with the fitted resister. Complete with carry bag, security chain and battery connection lead.

40w CARASOLAR
The 40w CARASOLAR is our most popular system. Taking into account the relatively small increase in price the benefits are clear. Double the power and in-built regulator to prevent overcharging of the leisure battery. The panels 2.4 amp per hour charge will allow for 2-3 hours of TV, lights and water pump. It has all the usual accessories, security chain, carry bag and battery connection lead. A cracking choice.

65w CARASOLAR
This is the largest in our range of three, the 65w CARASOLAR can charge at a whopping 3.68 amps per hour making it ideal for a full timer as well as for the families. Between spring and Autumn it should cope with everything you have to throw at it, TV up to 4-5 hours, lighting, water pump, radio and that all important caravan mover. It comes with regulator and all the usual refinements.

NASA BM-1 and BM-1 Compact Motorhome Battery Display

The BM-1 is designed to monitor performance of 12 volt lead acid battery systems with capacities of up to 600 Amp hours. It is supplied complete with a precision 100 AMP shunt. The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charge or discharge), number of amp/hours (charge or discharge), the batteries state of charge and the time to charge or discharge. This information leads to more efficient use of the battery, which can enhance battery life and reduce the risk of failure.
