Alden have entered the TV market with a bang! Their fantastic new 12 volt TV the Alden "Multi System" is absolutely fantastic for modern motorhomes and leisure applications. Many German and French manufacturers are now offering the Alden TV "Multi System" as standard or an option, and because of this, building their TV carriers and "pop up displays" around the Alden "Multi System" concept.
Remember that the Alden "multi system" is lighter and physically smaller than most if not all of its rivals yet has a MASSIVE 16" & 18" screen's with an unbelievable viewing angle!
If that wasn't enough, the power consumption starts at an amazing 18watts so again probably the best on the market! And there is more! Pop a memory stick or external hard drive into the USB port and record your DVB programme's, there is even a timer function on the system so you won't have to miss your favorite programme!

Alden Platinum Range Satellite TV Systems

Alden are proud of their "Platinum" range of satellite systems. This version comes complete with the S.S.C (Satellite Search Control) system, so that your own digibox such as a Sky digi box can be connected to the system.

S.S.C® is a satellite search control system perfectly adapted for locating TV broadcasting satellites in a leisure vehicle. This unique piece of technology makes locating a satellite incredibly quick and easy. The S.S.C.® is installed between the satellite system and your receiver.

Alden is the preferred choice of satellite system for French motorhome converters Rapido and many of their motorhomes are pre-wired for Alden systems, saving you time and disruption on installation.
Being Platinum coloured this may be a defining for the modern motorhome owner who is worried about colour co-ordination. The Platinum range also has a perforated dish similar to those found in a domestic system, to give maximum protection for the equipment and your viewing pleasure in strong winds.
Another interesting feature of Alden dishes is the nylon “shear” bolts. If you forget to close the dish in strong winds and the speed of the wind is to much for the system to cope with, in extreme cases the shear bolts should give before drastic damage if caused to the main assembly. Of course for your own protection, like any make of satellite dish, it is advisable to close the dish if strong winds are forecast. When installed the system is connected to an ignition circuit and should retract when the engine is started to avoid the risk of driving off and damaging the dish.

Alden SAT-NET Internet Satellite TV

The age old problem of motorhoming is getting internet access "on the move". Wouldn't it be good to park up on a beach in France / Spain etc and be able to sit outside in the sun with your laptop and email / chat using msn messenger / skype or similar with friends and family back home. You can even use Skype or similar Voice Over IP (VoIP) programs to have free phone calls to friends / family

Now you can with the new Alden Sat-Net. Satellite Internet for Motorhomes is now in its second incarnation.

The Alden Sat-Net satellite internet system is the new kid on the block and is rewriting the rule book on mobile internet access. Previously the only real option for serious internet usage was either BGAN or Datastorm and the now phased out Alden Netmaster. The former charges per megabyte and can get expensive for intensive use, the Datastorm is a very expensive (>£6000) satellite internet system which then charges you a fixed rate per month dependent upon speed of access required and the superceded previous model of Alden Netmaster is still available.

Internet access in a motorhome or caravan is possible very quickly and easily with the new Alden Sat-Net.

Alden Sunpower Phenix Solar System

The ultimate solar system for anyone who values independence from hook up. Being up to FIVE times more efficient than a conventional flat panel of it's wattage, the Alden Sun Power Phenix really does make the most of any sun available.
The panel acts like a conventional panel until activated, but once activated it is anything but conventional. First the electromagnetic locks release, allowing the Phenix to rise like it's name sake. The Phenix is pre-programmed to know the correct elevation of the sun, at any given day, at any time of the year, for the next twenty years!
All you have to do is to punch 01,02 or 03 into the internally mounted key pad to tell Phenix roughly in what part of Europe it is in.
Phenix will make an initial sweep of 359 degrees to asses the brightest part of the sky. After this initial sweep, Phenix will return to the either the sunniest or the brightest section of sky. After one hour it will start to track automatically.
Pre-programmed to "know" when it is sunset, Phenix will, after often being vertical on the roof of the van to catch the dying rays of the sun as it slips over the horizon, return to it's park position, and gently lower itself back to it starting point, the electromagnets locking in to place to stop any additional movement.
Should the engine be started whilst Phenix is elevated, the system will sound an alarm and return to the park position to reduce the chance of any damage to the system.
